How We Should Live Our Lives

Life is the greatest gift to be given to human beings. However, many individuals can drift away from truly living while spending their lives merely surviving and coping with current challenges. Yet, genuine living is about discovering inner happiness and self-awareness. So, how should we  live our lives? Here are some ideas that might help you on your journey towards inner happiness.

The true beauty of life lies in capturing the moment being lived right now. Rather than dwelling on the sorrows of the past or the worries of the future, it’s important to savour and focus on the present moment. In our lives, we should learn from the experiences we’ve left behind in the past to enjoy the potential experiences we can have in the future. Living in the moment enhances our inner peace and allows us to notice the beauties of life more.

A healthy lifestyle should be considered a fundamental element of your inner happiness. Engaging in regular exercise, maintaining a balanced diet, getting sufficient sleep, and learning stress-coping techniques all support our physical and mental well-being. Taking care of our bodies enables us to feel energetic and vibrant. We shouldn’t neglect our health and should give our bodies the necessary importance. In seeking inner happiness, we should turn to our internal resources rather than external factors. We should cultivate meaningful relationships, allocate time to our loved ones, and recognize the significance that connections with others add to our lives. To infuse our lives with purpose and direction, we should set meaningful goals and perceive challenges as opportunities for learning. By practicing gratitude, we should focus on what we have and make an effort to acknowledge the positive aspects. To continually improve ourselves, we should persist in learning, take care of our physical and mental well-being, and consider helping others and contributing to the community as ways to add meaning to our lives. Adapting to change, preserving our authenticity, and remaining faithful to our values are essential. Developing flexibility and resilience enables us to navigate life’s ups and downs more effectively. It’s important to remember that each individual has distinct values, passions, and circumstances; therefore, to determine what constitutes a meaningful and satisfying life, we should turn to our own internal guidance.

In these times when our lives go by we can feel like we are lost in the middle of a sea. But I can say that even when we lose our way, there is always a point of departure. I know it’s hard to see little lights in the dark. But there is a way we can find the little lights. We must end our war with our inner ego. “I want to do it myself.” “I don’t need anyone else’s help.” The results of the decisions we started with our own feet can result in disaster. Every person is a different story and the character of every story is different. When we become the hero of our own story we become aware of the happiness within us. The increase in self-confidence makes people think that they have the power to do anything. Although this thought is actually good, too much of everything is harmful.

The pleasure of making our desires come true is indescribable. At times like these, we become aware of the life we live and start striving for more pleasure. But the biggest thing human beings need to learn is “Everything has an end. White cannot exist unless there is black.”

While we are working at our job or spending time with our family, there have been a few moments in our lives where our lives came before our eyes. In moments like these, we need to look at what our life has to offer. Always wanting the best can cause you to become a monkey-tempered person after a while. Knowing the value of what we have is one of the greatest maturity human beings can do. Of course, it’s fine to want better things in our life. It gives us a purpose. But what about after we get everything we’ve been chasing? There will be a huge void in front of us. We will get lost in the color black. For this reason, the things we have learned in our lives and the experiences we have had will help us find the right answer. There is actually no such thing as right or wrong when we think about life. We need to find our own truth. When we find our own truth, we will be able to decide more easily what kind of person we will be.
