Can you smell the winter?
Because I do
The same way
I feel your heart
Day after day
Slowly… painfully
Drifting away
As the weather get colder
And the sun says bye, bye
My soul aches
Aches at the thought
Of YOU
Of your absence
Of the fact
That soon enough
You will hide away
Like the falling leaves under
Winters freezing snow
And I won’t be there in time
To dig you up from all that
Messy, heavy, whitey, blankety layer
Of pain, loneliness, madness, hatred, Sadness, disappointment and so on
*
But you know what
One day
All that ice will melt away
Together with our grudges
And Eventually…
Spring will come again
To wreck our walls of ice cold
Ill feelings, bitterness and resentment
But I am scared
Cause I don’t know whether
By that time
You will be there too?!…
