Everyday life during the quarantine in Skopje

People as social creatures, want to go outside and interact with friends, and while this pandemic limits our possibilities, instead of feeling sorry for ourselves, we can make the best of our time. We are able to do all those things we couldn’t fit into our normal lifestyle. So, let me tell you about a day in my life, while in quarantine.

I get up and take all the time I need to make myself a delicious breakfast. After that, I have my Italian lesson on Duolingo, which I totally recommend. You can learn whatever language you want and you will not get bored for sure. Then I have my coffee and listen to some music. The albums “Future Nostalgia” by Dua Lipa or “Good thing” by Leon Bridges are worth listening to. If the weather is nice, I go outside in my yard and exercise. I take all the time I need for my self-care routine, pampering myself.

When that is finished I start doing my schoolwork (if I have it) or look up something online. Listen to TED talks,  podcasts, or catch up with my friends on facetime. Later I watch some of my favorite series like How I met your mother, Friends, or Criminal minds and CSI Miami. Also the movies I definitely recommend are: “The good Will Hunting”, “10 things I hate about you”, “The ugly truth” “Jumanji”, “Mission Impossible”. Whatever you are interested in, you can definitely fill up your time while in quarantine. You don’t have to be productive all the time, spend time with your family, enjoy the things that make you feel good, and stay positive.
